0 Quick Apply Part-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Airport Innovation is looking for a Grant Writer to join our team and lead our efforts in securing funding to help our organization operate throughout the year.
A Grant Writer's responsibilities include researching grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals to acquire funding, and working with Airport Innovation leadership team to ensure we have enough capital each year.
Responsible for finding funding opportunities for the organization and writing polished proposals to earn grant money.
Other duties include researching deadlines, drafting grant requests, and submitting reports for approval.
An influential Grant Writer should possess excellent research and communication skills.
Able to clearly communicate in both written and verbal communication, especially in grant proposals, for this will be the primary duty.
Including any special tasks that the Director expects the successful candidate to fulfill.
Ultimately, you will work with our leadership team to understand our financial needs and ensure we attain funding.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the execution of the development department's strategy Identify grant funding opportunities Write, submit and manage grant proposals Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Development to send benefactors newsletters and to promote on-site tours Collaborate with the Director of Development to compile an annual report Work with the Director of Development to set quarterly, annual and longer-term objectives, strategies, and tactical plans in support of the overall strategic plan Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or similar role Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources Exceptional organizational and writing skills Bachelor's degree in creative writing or a related field Prepare and produce documentation and reports for meetings and campaigns Work collaboratively as part of the development team to advance priority programs Requirements and Skills Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or similar role Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals Skilled with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources Exceptional organizational and writing skills Bachelor's degree in creative writing or a related field Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
