Fleet Operations Manager

The Southern Pines Trucking ("SPT") organization has an immediate need for a Fleet Operations Manager to ensure business needs are met by balancing service, capacity and profitability. The Fleet Operations Manager is accountable for managing SPT's professional drivers and fleet of cryogenic tractors and tankers, customer communications, contractual arrangements and billings, as well as, managing weekly payrolls.
The preferred candidate will possess the following:
Four year college degree or equivalent experience
Transportation and dispatch experience required. Solid business and financial acumen
Demonstrated excellence as an empowering leader with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate multiple solutions to make sound decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced environment
An innovative, goal-oriented and results driven approach

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
